Very Direct Widgets - très chic
The Very Direct Widgets These are, quite frankly, the cleverest of all our widgets. Simple to install with just a tiny scrap of code, they let your visitors directly select the state directory they want from a dropdown (check out the example on the right over there). These are slick. Not only do they let your visitors jump directly to the page where they get their own state directory, they also list the number of NPPES provider records in each state, so there's a little extra cool stuff in there to play with. The Weally Wittle Widgets Don't get me started. This one's great for dropping right smack in the middle of a page. You can paste the text into the "code view" of your web page editor, or into the "HTML view" of your Typepad or other blog post editing window, and it'll just float over to the left or the right, depending on which one you grab off the page here. Special Instructions for Typepad Users
If you don't use Typepad Advanced Templates, which means you don't have direct access to your web pages' HTML, you can use Typepad's TypeLists feature to display one of our widgets. NEW: Now you can install any of our widgets in Typepad!

1. Click the TypeLists tab. Select an existing Notes TypeList, or create a new one. The "Notes" TypeList is one the five TypeList types.
2. Clich "Add Item."
3. In the Notes TypeList editor, there are two boxes. Into the "Note" box, paste the widget code you find on this page.
4. Just leave the "Label" box blank.
5. Hit the "Save" button, and test your new widget. Make a cup of tea.
