New features, more records, and still as easy to use as ever!
Whether you need to find provider information for billing, or you just need a way to look up healthcare providers in your area by specialty, NPIdentify Desktop is the answer.
NPIdentify is your NPI and UPIN Registry, and much more!
Download NPIdentify and install it right on your own workstation or laptop. You'll be able to lookup providers by any part of their names, addresses, telephone or fax numbers, 9-digit zip codes, UPIN, Medicare PIN, Medicaid number, and other identifiers reported by providers, even taxonomy code and specialty or subspecialty description. You can do an NPI search, or anything else you can do with the CMS NPI Registry – but much faster, much easier and with much more functionality.
Used by billing departments, medical billing companies and practice front offices, NPIdentify Desktop data resides on your computer—no intenet connection necessary—and at $29.99 it offers virtually the same features as offline lookup solutions priced $486.99 and up. NPIdentify is the value leader in desktop NPI lookup.

NEW in Version 2.6.36...
Search and Sort lets you search by any part of these fields, and group records for viewing:
Find NPI numbers and other provider info fast
We mean really fast. Tired of waiting for the CMS NPI web site? That is, when it's actually working. Now you'll have the database right on your hard drive – no waiting for CMS or anybody else. If you live in a state with a mid-size population, you'll get results in less than a second. Larger states like California and New York take just a smidgen longer. And you can use wildcards, and select "start of field" or "any part of field." Yeah, powerful.
If you're a regular user of UPIN registries, NPI directories and such, how about putting it together in one place right on your desktop? Remember the days of CMS's old Medicare UPIN registry at www.cms.hhs.gov/upin? Alas, it's gone now, but if you're looking for a UPIN, you want it so you can get to a doctor's NPI. That's why we let you use UPINs and other identifiers to look up physicians on NPIdentify Desktop. If the doc listed a UPIN on their NPPES record, you can just type it in and pull up the full record. Same goes for other identifiers, too, like OSCARs and Medicaid numbers. Then you can click Copy, Email or Print, and get all the details you need.
Choose "Find" or "Sift"
Choose the Find feature to search for listings matching your criteria in context, or use the Sift feature to display all listings that match your criteria as a group. Print, email, even export up to fifty sifted records at a time!
Check for the most up-to-the-minute data
Every listing in NPIdentify Desktop has a live link to the CMS web site, so you can check to see if a provider has updated its/her/his information more recently than your NPIdentify date. You get the best of both worlds: Fast NPI lookups, plus a ready link to double check the NPPES data if you like.*
You can send one or 100 listings instantly to your printer.*
Copy it to the clipboard
You can copy a listing to the Windows clipboard, and then paste it into a document.
Share NPI profiles with your business partners. You can email a provider's listing – or your own – to whoever needs it, without ever leaving NPIdentify Desktop.*
Now with Version 2.6 you can mark multiple records for printing, emailing and exporting, up to 100 at a time.
